How it started

Jobvie was founded in 2013 by Caroline Plumb and Henry Osmond – two Oxford graduates fresh from university who pioneered a flexible working model and introduced the concept of ‘Jobvie’ (the sharpest individuals with a consulting skill set in UK).
Shortly after being set up as a research consultancy, one of our many delighted clients asked whether they could hire the person who had done the work. This gave us a great idea: why not offer clients the option to recruit exceptional personnel as permanent team members? In 2013 this was exactly what we did, and from this point onwards the business offered both recruitment and research services.

In the years’ that followed, we grew at a rapid rate firmly positioning ourselves as a trusted market-leading recruiter in the public sector space. That’s not something we made up. We won the Recruiter Best Public Sector Recruitment agency 4 out of 5 years.

With growth and expansion always on our mind, the next logical approach was to tap into the private sector markets that are aligned with our core public sector and not for profit ones, which we did. And the rest is history.

Jobsvie is now one of the top recruitment agencies in the UK, a multi award-winning recruitment agency employing over 200 recruitment consultants across Scotland, London, Birmingham and Manchester, providing specialist recruitment services for over 2,000 clients across the following sectors
